The Heed workspace is divided into two main areas: the sidebar and the main panel.

Sidebar

The sidebar is your primary way to navigate Heed. It can be expanded or collapsed, and is organized into the following sections:

  1. Dashboard β€” Get a quick overview of your scheduled sessions for the day, week, or month. If you offer online therapy, you'll find a direct link to join each session right from the calendar. The dashboard also includes a simple to-do list to help you stay on top of your priorities.

  2. Patients β€” View all your patients in one place, with the ability to filter by status (active or inactive).

  3. Sessions β€” See an overview of all sessions across all your patients. From here, you can also track whether each session has been paid and whether an invoice has been issued.

  4. Calendar β€” View your full schedule by day, week, or month.

  5. Finances β€” Get a quick snapshot of your session revenue and track all your expenses in one place.

  6. Teams β€” Invite team members and start collaborating within Heed.

Main panel

The main panel is your primary workspace in Heed β€” it's where all your clinical and practice comes to life. Whenever you select a section from the sidebar, the main panel updates to display the relevant information, whether that's a patient's profile, a session history, your calendar, or your financial overview.

This is where you'll spend most of your time in Heed. Think of the sidebar as your navigation and the main panel as your desk β€” the sidebar tells Heed where to go, and the main panel is where the work happens.

Sheets

Sheets are the panels that slide into view whenever you need to add or edit information in Heed. Whether you're registering a new patient, scheduling a session, or writing a clinical note, a sheet is where you'll enter that data.

Think of sheets as focused workspaces that appear on right of the main panel. They keep you in context β€” you don't have to leave the page you're on to complete a task. Once you've filled in the required information and saved your work, the sheet closes and you're right back where you started, with your data updated automatically.

You'll encounter sheets throughout Heed, and they always follow the same familiar pattern: they open, you fill in or edit the relevant details, and you save. This consistency makes it easy to build confidence as you learn the app β€” once you've used one sheet, you'll feel comfortable with all of them.
